The South East Cave Rescue Organisation (SECRO) is responsible for Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Essex, Greater London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
SECRO can call upon the services of around seventy experienced cavers, who are prepared to be called upon 24 hours a day to carry out rescues in caves, mines or any other underground sites, of which there are a surprising number in the South East! In addition SECRO is well equipped to conduct surface search and rescue in its role as mountain rescue representative for the region.
