The British Cave Rescue Council holds a biannual medical conference where anyone interested in advanced medical practice for cave rescue team members can gather to discuss various topics and attend practical sessions. These medical conferences are a great way to share knowledge and information between cave rescue teams across the country. Mendip Cave Rescue (MCR) is proud to host the 2026 BCRC medical conference, which will be held over the weekend of 12-14 June 2026 in Priddy Village Hall.
Tickets for the weekend are now on sale, priced at £30 for the weekend. The ticket will cover all sessions (both surface and underground) and all food, but does NOT include any accommodation. MCR have made a provisional booking to reserve bed spaces at a number of local caving huts, so we would encourage attendees to get in touch with one of them to book their accommodation for the weekend.
