Emergency Services Show 2019

BCRC had a stand at the 2019 Emergency Services Show in the Search and Rescue Zone along with colleagues from Mountain Rescue England & Wales, Lowland Rescue, NSARDA (National Search and Rescue Dogs Association), and the RNLI in Hall 5 at the NEC Birmingham.

Members of several Cave Rescue teams and BCRC Officers looked after the stand for the 2 days of the show (18th and 19th September), meeting a wide range of interesting people from a number of Blue Light and Voluntary services.

Elsewhere in the show visitors were able to see the latest devices and tools for a wide range of uses. It was amazing how realistic the modern resuscitation dummies and bodies have become. Not just in looks but even in skin texture. It was even possible to have a go at open heart surgery! (Not something you would want to do in a cave!!)

The 2020 Show will be at the NEC, Hall 5 on the 23rd & 24th September 2020

Don’t forget – if you are a member of a Blue Light or Voluntary Emergency Service you are eligible for FREE entry to the Show! Find out more and register for your ticket on the show website: www.emergencyuk.com
