The British Caving Association (the BCA) is the governing body for Caving within the British Isles.
The British Cave Research Association (the BCRA) undertakes the scientific study if all aspects of caves and caving both in the British Isles and abroad.
The Cave Radio and Electronics Group (CREG) is a branch of the BCRA and has provided much assistance to cave rescue in developing underground communications. Visit the HEYPhone Web Site for details of the cave radios.
The BCRC continues to maintain close links with the Mountain Rescue (England and Wales).
The BCRC has a seat on United Kingdom Search and Rescue (UKSAR).

The Speleo Secours Francais (SSF) is the French cave rescue.
The National Cave Rescue Commission (NCRC) represents the NSS on cave rescue matters in the United States.
