The British Cave Rescue Council is the Representative body for voluntary underground rescue in the British Isles.

This site contains information on:

• underground rescues, how they happen, how they are carried out
• how to contact cave and mine rescue teams
• the history of cave rescue
• annual rescue Incident Reports prepared by the British Cave Rescue Council

 Cave Rescue through the British Isle is carried by unpaid volunteers.
